About Nina
Nina Straface (she/her) is an actor, singer, and pretty strong mover (self proclaimed) born, raised, and based in Philadelphia, PA.
As a Philly girl through and through, she finds that her passion is the driving force of her endeavors - much like Philly sports fans. At the age of seven she followed her older sister’s footsteps in joining the school drama club and discovered she liked being on stage. Throughout her years at school, her love for performing continued to grow. Not only did she love the feeling of performing on stage - she realized she loved the entire process of putting a production together. Most importantly, she realized that performing was her way of connecting and healing with other people.
In 2021, she graduated with a B.A. in Theatre with a Concentration in Acting from Temple University (Magna Cum Laude), as well as a Certificate in American Sign Language.When she’s not performing you can find her spending time with her five sisters, laughing at her own jokes, making ridiculous TikToks, talking about her family’s pizza shop, and telling you about the forty-five minute video essay she really wants you to watch.
